Earlier this year we had the back yard dug up for some reason, and ended up putting in a whole back new yard, complete with rock borders, and most of a sprinkler system. Hauled in somewhere around 12 yards of topsoil as we had none, and about 3 yards of round rock to finish things off. We still need to get plants for the big planters, and I need to dig around to the front of the yard to make the sprinkler system hookup (connected to a hose for the moment). Of course this area proceeded to have one of the hottest driest years in some time, so water water water and mow mow mow. Here is our new back yard.
